 Dr. Sam Shay, BA, BS, BS, DC, DACNB, FACFN
Dr. Shay comes from a family of medical doctors, including both his parents, his grandfather, his cousin, and his brother-in-law. Dr. Shay chose a different route to heal patients naturally without drugs or surgery.
Dr. Shay did his pre-medical training at University of California at Santa Cruz, graduating with Highest Honors, College Honors, and the sole recipient of the Stevenson College Service Award. He earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic as well as two more Bachelors degrees, one in Health & Wellness and the other in Human Anatomy, from the most prestigious Chiropractic College in the world, Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas and was the only doctoral graduate to earn Summa Cum Laude in his class. Dr. Shay had the rare honor of being one of the only students in the entire 25 year history of his graduate school to be invited to speak as a guest lecturer while still a student because of his expertise in nutrition, health, and wellness. Dr. Shay also had the rare honor of teaching board reviews at six chiropractic colleges in the US to younger students, educating them in basic sciences and clinical sciences to assist them in passing their national registration exams.
Dr. Shay has earned advanced Diplomate in clinical neurology from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB),. Dr. Shay is also a Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology.
Dr. Shay specializes in reducing the harmful affects of stress on a persons health and nervous system through removing the toxicities and deficiencies accrued in the 3 main areas of health: Structure, Chemistry, and the Mind. Dr. Shay has studied over two dozen chiropractic techniques to resolve structural stressors, studied nutrition for over 10 years, and has done extensive work on understanding practical methods to reduce mental/emotional stressors. Not limited to the spine, Dr. Shay has completed extensive post-graduate training in extremities (arms & legs), neurology, nutrition, detoxification, cranials, chronic diseases, physiology, muscular adhesions, and clinical anatomy.
